The ritual +
Warm a drop between your fingertips, then press onto pulse points. Essential oil
sits close to the skin, so reapply through the day as a small ceremony, not a
correction.
Provenance +
Sourced from a single family distillery in Cairo and imported in small lots. Each
bottle is decanted and labeled by hand at the salon.
Ingredients +
Botanical extract in a gentle carrier oil. No alcohol and no synthetics added after
import. The full list for each oil is below.
The Story
The oldest perfume there is, and still the hardest to make
It takes thousands of petals to produce a very small amount of rose oil, which is why it has always been the most expensive thing in any perfumer's cabinet and why Egypt built an industry around it. Nothing synthetic has ever really replaced it.
Deep, honeyed, and faintly green, it grows warmer the longer it sits on the skin. Worn for the skin as much as the scent, and the oil clients most often buy as a gift.
“The oil of love and beauty. It nourishes the soul.”
